We are looking for someone who wants to come and Butcher for us in our On-Farm Primesafe butchering facility.
This is a unique opportunity - butchering with a view, not just on the knives, part of a team that cares - cares about the people, the animals, the land we farm and the food we produce! You will literally be butchering the meat that is growing around you.
Butchers, meat processors/boner, chefs encouraged to apply.
The basics we require are:
Basic butchering skills (ideally - carcass breakdown or willingness to learn how to breakdown a carcass) / confident knife skills
Work independently/self-motivated
Take pride in your work
Victorian drivers license
Willingness to learn via on the job training - cooking, listeria management plan and dry curing
Innovation, creativity, problem solving skills
