What is Pickled Pork?
You boil it up similar to corned beef or silverside – it is an old tradition to have it at Christmas. In a stockpot covered with water, with a dash of apple cider vinegar, a few cloves, peppercorns and bay leaves. Cook for approx 45min per kg. You can serve it HOT with a delicious caper sauce or mustard sauce or COLD. It’s great in sandwiches or cold meat as leftovers. A tradition in the Hagan family!
