2020 was full of adapting and some positives were the Online Ordering & Home Delivery – we saw new customers, regular buyers, we got to work in normal business hours and we also started to have a work:life balance after 10years!!
Therefore we put our thinking caps on and did some research. There are systems called CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) or boxed schemes and also some feedback during our online orders last year – with cycles open & closing – customers found it difficult to remember when, etc. So we have developed the ‘Pork Club’ which ultimately you are committing to monthly pork packs delivered to your home for one year, which we will manage and coordinate the order, payment and delivery.
We think it sounds like a win-win for all of us!
Everything in life comes with pros & cons – but we feel that this one is a winner for you, the customer and us. We need to have more certainty of selling pork (breeding them, raising & feeding them), reduce the variability of farmers markets (poor weather, long weekend) and we would like to be more efficient and streamline the delivery process.
For you, as the customer – monthly pork, bacon & ham (mostly a set packs – so you can plan) delivered free to you, you will receive a discount of the retail prices, exclusive offers, recipe cards and ideas. Plus you can add on additional products to your order and have them delivered at the same time. We are allowing one Skip-Month in case you head off on holidays or just have a build up in the freezer.
